Who we are
Bluetop provides Alex, an AI assistant for civil engineering firms, reachable by email and Microsoft Teams. This policy describes what we collect when your firm works with Alex and how we handle it. Questions: contact us at the address in the Support page.
What we collect
Messages your team sends to Alex (email and chat), documents you provide for drafting (for example plan sets, geotechnical reports, and prior permit documents), the drafts and replies Alex produces, and operational logs (timestamps, sender addresses, processing results). We collect this to provide the service: producing drafts, keeping conversation context, and improving reliability.
How documents are processed
Documents are processed to extract project information and generate draft deliverables. We use Anthropic's Claude API as an AI processing subprocessor and infrastructure providers for hosting and email delivery. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your firm's documents to train models.
Retention and deletion
Conversation history and documents are retained while your firm uses the service so Alex can keep context. On written request we will delete your firm's stored messages and documents, subject to legal retention obligations.
Your contacts
We store the names and work contact details of the people at your firm who interact with Alex, used solely to operate the service.
